Thank you!

As many of you have probably heard, we have decided to no longer work vocationally with the Hispanic Ministry. The Lord has made it clear in many ways that He was calling us in a different direction. Brian has accepted a full time position working with Fed Ex and has really been enjoying it. We are super thankful to have a a full time job with a stable salary and awesome benefits.

We can't express how thankful we are for all of our supporters. We have felt so loved and cared for by so many of you! You have been faithful not only in giving, but in prayer. We will always cherish the memories of working along side such a wonderful team. We have been spurred on by truth and encouraged to run the race well.

We also loved working with the Hispanic Ministry. If it wasn't so obvious that the Lord was calling us elsewhere, we would have loved to stay! As we've mentioned before, we developed many relationships. One couple that we were particularly close with has since moved back to the Dominican Republic. Jonathon is now a Music Pastor of a church there. Another couple from our Married Group is now serving as full time missionaries abroad.  Brian had the opportunity to really invest in Eric's life, walk through support raising with him, learn Spanish from him, and have endless conversations about living life as ministry. We miss them, but are so excited to hear updates on what the Lord is doing through them. We felt like we were adopted by the Mendez's as part of their Family and Brian doubts he will ever have a more welcoming and enthusiastic boss than Luis.

Brian loved meeting weekly with the Men's Bible study. He developed some neat relationships, was able to share the gospel, and learn Spanish. We will also greatly miss our Celebration services and "family lunch" with the Hispanic Ministry. Nothing brings people together like amazing Latin food!

All in all we are very grateful for the opportunity that the Lord gave us to raise prayer and financial support from other believers. We thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts. Please continue to let us know how we can be praying for you. Just because our "official partnership" is over, we would love to live in community and be praying for you all.

Please pray for us:
  •  as we adjust to Brian's new schedule which varies from week to week.
  • as we seek the Lord's guidance in looking for a new place to live.
  • as we make plans for the future knowing that "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand." -Proverbs 19:21

Thank you all!

With much love,
The Johnson Family
