Brian and I have just arrived in Redlands, Ca. We will be raising support in California and Arizona from May 26th to June 17th. Tomorrow morning we are driving to Arizona. I lived in Scottsdale during elementary school and Brian has family in the Phoenix area. We will be in Northern California from June 6th through 11th. Then we will return to the Los Angeles area to meet with family and friends and develop connections with my dad's church,
Trinity EV Free. We are excited to be out of Minnesota and we are thankful for the breath of fresh air and the change of scenery down here in the Southwest. We are praying that the Lord will use this time to renew our excitement and refresh our vision for support raising. Although we are more than thankful to say that the Lord has provided nearly 25% of our final goal, at times we lose sight of the fact that the Lord is providing in his own timing. It is easy to see an end goal and want to rush toward it. We end up being more blessed by the journey and so we are waiting on the Lord.
Prayer Requests:
- Traveling mercies: we will be flying/driving all around the Southwest. Please pray for our safety.
- Flexibility: that people would be available to meet with us while we are in town.
- Patience: with so much travel and the stress of fundraising, pray that our relationship would be strengthened through this process and that we would love the Lord and each other more because of it.
