We wanted to let you know a bit about something big that is coming up in our lives so that you know best how to pray for us. As you know, we are having a baby this spring! We are really excited for this little blessing to join our family. As you also know, we have been raising support since this summer to be on staff with Campus Outreach for the next four years (Lord willing!)
Because our baby is due April 10th, the leadership team on staff with Campus Outreach has suggested that we come up with a deadline to be at 100% support, if we are not at 100% then we will start moving towards other career options. We are totally in agreement with this as we want to be able to provide for our new family and not be in a constant "holding pattern" of raising funds. We have set March 1st as our deadline because that gives us enough time before the baby is born to either spend some time doing ministry before the end of the year on the campus or for Brian to find another job.
We need lots of prayer! We still have $1500/month to raise by March 1st. We are thankful for your prayers and hope they will continue as we approach this deadline. We feel called to work with this ministry and continue to have vision for college students so we are praying that the Lord would make his desire for us crystal clear. We would love for you to pray: 1) for people currently considering joining our team financially, 2) for those we are recontacting to see if they would reconsider supporting us, 3) for those who are currently supporting us to consider increasing if they have any capacity and 4) for our continuing to trust and seek the Lord in this confusing and sometimes discouraging time.
