I am really excited to have an opportunity to go with the NWC baseball team to Florida for their spring training. I have been to practice on average about 2-3 nights a week, and it has been a blast getting to know some of the guys on the team. There are 2 guys, Andy and Cory, that I have been consistently getting together with from the team (1 of which I have been studying the bible with and the other I am beginning to study the bible with this week), and a few guys who I have been spending relational time with consistently who I do not think know Jesus. I am really excited to see what God has in store for guys on the team and myself while in Florida, because I will have lots of opportunities to get relational time and, in the midst of it all, lots of time to talk about the significance of a relationship with Jesus.
I would love for you all to pray that God would be working in me to continue to proclaim the Gospel boldly to myself, so that my ministering to men would be out of an overflow of grace. I would really love to see some guys from the team come to
Summer Training Project with us. There is one guy, Cory, who has already committed. I would also love to see Jesus radically change these other 2-3 guys hearts so that they could be a great witness to the rest of the team and campus and eventually the world!
